Malissa Whited
Owner/Head Yoga Teacher
Malissa stepped on the mat over 25 years ago. Her practice and teachings are an eclectic fusion of breath work, flowing asana, mindfulness, anatomy, and storytelling. They are created with a therapeutic focus, and are breath centered.
Her mission is to heal and elevate the vibration of all beings through Yoga, love, gratitude, and kindness.
Experience:
Malissa Whited B.S., E-RYT 200 has been a Yoga instructor for over 20 years. She became certified as an AFAA Group Fitness Instructor in 2002, a Yoga Instructor in 2004, and a Stott Mat Pilates Instructor in 2008. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Toledo in 2013, She has taught three teacher trainings, and teaches retreats and workshops in the U.S. and Internationally. She is also a Manual Medicine Therapist, under Dr. Keith Barbour, DO.
April Nykodym
Yoga Teacher/Massage Therapist
April Nykodym is a practicing Licensed massage therapist and Yoga teacher. She obtains over 14 years experience with her massage therapy practice and in helping clients obtain a more mobile lifestyle with less pain.
She acquired her Ohio State Medical Board license in massage therapy after graduating from Owens Community College with an Associates degree in applied sciences she later secured her Licensure in the State of Michigan where she currently practices.
April began her Yoga journey in 2017 at Mindful Movement Yoga and currently practices under her teacher Malissa Whited.
The combination of Massage Therapy and Yoga has been a catalyst for her passion in guiding others towards improving their physical health. She values time with clients in collaboration in reaching their healthier goals.
April enjoys past time reading, mostly self healing and spiritual growth, long walks in nature, kayaking and boating in the summer months. She also enjoys cooking and recipes that pertain to clean eating and healthy alternatives to baking.

Angela Ragsdel
Yoga Teacher
Angela Ragsdel has been practicing yoga since 2010. She came to yoga after surviving septic shock and toxic shock syndrome to help manage pain and heal her body. In 2015 she received her 200 hour yoga certification through Mindful Movement under the instruction of Todd Tesen and Malissa Whited. Angela is most passionate about teaching yin yoga and restorative yoga. She loves to incorporate essential oils into her classes when possible.
Off her mat, Angela is a wife and mother to two daughters. She enjoys volunteering at her girl's school and coaching cheer.
Tracey Roemer
Yoga Teacher
Tracey was introduced to yoga in 1999. With a dance background, she took to the spiritual practice, like a fish to water. Tracey got certified to teach in 2012 in Los Angeles, CA. Recently returning “home” to Michigan, she has found her new yoga community at MindfulMovement. Excited to bring her artistic expression to fruition, with a yoga-dance flow.

Sandra has been an aerobic fitness instructor for 23 years. She has taught students of all levels ages and abilities. She received her RYT 200 from Toledo Yoga. She also has her Yin level one certificate.
She brings a very calm, loving, and warm vibe to her classes
